Affordable veg boxes for local families
We have been providing weekly veg boxes for low-income families in LLanboidy and Whitland during the school summer holidays, from 16th July to 2nd September 2021
This project was supported by the Landworkers Alliance, with National Lottery funding. We are working with local schools, Whitland Food Bank, and other organisations to make these boxes available to local families who will benefit from them. We also supply veg for low income families via Glasbren’s Sovereignty boxes/
The scheme will be back next year.
Surplus produce is also donated to make meals for the Community Freezer at the Nurture Centre in Carmarthen
