Community Harvest Days
Join us to gather the harvest
An opportunity to visit the site, learn more about how we grow your veg and fruit, join in the harvest and take home some to enjoy yourself. Local community groups and families are welcome. Spaces are limited and we will give priority to groups with less access to healthy food. This project is funded by the Landworkers’ Alliance.
JuLY: Potato harvest
Dig for gold!
The new potatoes will be ready - learn about how we grow veg on site, help us dig up the potatoes, and take some home for your dinner.
September: Pumpkins and beans
A group of young people helped us harvest the Three Sisters: pumpkins, beans, and corn. Followed by a lovely harvest meal.
September: Apple pressing
Did you know there are a lot more varieties of apple than you can buy in the shops? And most of them taste much better than a Royal Gala from New Zealand. Help us gather the apples and press them to make your own unique blend of apple juice.
